Rochester, NY: Ruth Ann Miller Marincic, Author “Like Nuns to Greensburg” passed away peacefully on April 13, 2021. Ruth Ann (Butch) was married to Emil Michael Marincic for 62 years.
She is survived by her Children: Rev. Scott Michael Marincic (Beverly Gartner) He passed away November 15, 2001, Jay Edwin Marincic (Christine Rohal), and Jill Elizabeth Marincic (beloved friend Chris Nicholson); Her Grand Children: Jordan Marincic, Deven Marincic, Kristen Marincic Hiestermann, and Michaela Marincic Smith; Her Great Grand Children: Myah Marincic, Noah Marincic, Maira Hiestermann, and Raiko Hiestermann
Ruth Ann grew up in Clairton Pennsylvania, got married in Oakland, Maryland when Emil was in the US Army Signal Corp at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. Ruth Ann was 19 and Emil was 24 years old.
Ruth Ann became a stay-at-home Mom for all of her kids. Ruth Ann taught Bible school, Vacation Bible school at Hope Lutheran Church and held a neighborhood Bible study for many years.
Ruth Ann loved vacationing, Emil too, in Europe and every spring spent weeks in Florida.
A Celebration of Ruth Ann’s life will be held on April 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Hope Church, 1301 Vintage Lane, Rochester, NY 14626 for family and friends. Donations may be sent to Hope Church, 1301 Vintage Lane, Rochester, NY 14626.
