Sandra J. Seehafer-Dziok (Sandy),69, passed on September 17, 2022, to be reunited Spiritually with those she loved that predeceased her and GOD. Sandy is survived and remembered in loving memory by her husband and love of her life Robert David Dziok (Bobby to Sandy), sister-in-law Dorothy Dziok, brother-in-law Joseph Dziok, best friend Tom Allen as well as other family and friends.
Sandy had a heartwarming smile and disposition to help and cheer up others. She had an avid interest and hobby of photography, in particular of animals, nature and birds. Eagles and taking photos of them were a favorite of hers. Sandy also enjoyed car shows such as those at Carlisle and Hershey, PA that she and her husband Robert would go to and often meeting with friends such as Tom. Sandy also enjoyed concerts and plays with her husband.
Sandy was a member of the Canandaigua American Legion Auxiliary as Robert is a member of the American Legion there. She obtained a BA degree in music from Milton College, MS degree in business from Nazareth college and education/training to become a Registered Nurse (RN). Sandy had a strong determination and spirit like her mother Marianne Yano-Seehafer.
Like her mother Sandy worked very hard for what she accomplished and obtained through her life’s efforts. She will always be missed and remembered lovingly until reunited again Spiritually.
Sandy worked at BOCES 2 Spencerport as a teacher for 26 years. She often traveled with her mother for summers to the Midwest for her mother’s business (Portraits by Marianne) as well as helping her mother’s and own related business in local malls. Sandy took loving care of her mother for several years before she passed on April 2018.
Sandy is also remembered in memorial bricks to family veterans by family at the Veterans Memorial at the NYS fairgrounds in Syracuse NY. Those memorial bricks right in front of the POW/MIA flag there. Sandy is also remembered in memorial brick at Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center (Woodstock). That 50th anniversary of Woodstock brick honoring Veterans and POW/MIA. Also, that brick located first and foremost at one of the gates as one enters the concert grounds.
A special thanks to the medical staff at Unity Hospital and Rochester Health System for their efforts and kindness.
There will be no calling hours as requested but a burial site gathering for remembrance and prayer at White Haven Memorial Park. No donations are needed, but thoughts, prayers and remembrance of Sandy are appreciated.
