Sheila Marie Dysart, affectionately known as She-She and Shebdb, passed away surrounded by love. She was predeceased by her father, Michael J. Burke Jr., her mother, Loretta Burke (Carroll), and her son, Keith Dysart.


Sheila is survived by her beloved daughters, Jessica Dysart and Julie DeGuglielmo (née Dysart), her adored grandchildren, Brielle Dysart, Brayden Stokes, Dominic and Angelina DeGuglielmo, her brother, Michael J. Burke III, and her sister, Sandra Curtis, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.


Sheila's passions included spending quality time with her family and friends, traveling to Punta Cana, and creating beautiful memories in the Adirondack Mountains at Trout Lake. She was a true sports fan, particularly devoted to the Buffalo Bills. Her lively spirit, characterized by her spitfire personality, caring nature, loyalty, humor, wit, and intelligence, touched the hearts of all who knew her.


She dedicated 15 years of her life to the United States Postal Service as a Mail Handler, where she made countless incredible friends at the NW Rochester P&DC.


In honor of Sheila’s vibrant life, her daughters, Jessica and Julie, invite all to join them for a Celebration of Life on February 22 at Soho Café, located at 1510 W Ridge Road, Rochester, NY 14615, from 4 to 6 PM.


In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Lung Association and/or the American Diabetes Association.
