PITTSFORD, NY – June 5, 2022 at age 73
Susan is survived by her husband, L. Gordon Booth Jr.; son, Kristian (Tracy) Booth; daughter Jennifer Booth; and 5 wonderful grandchildren, Jacob (20), Haleigh (17), Benjamin (7), Grace (5) and Lillian (3). Susan graduated from the University of Michigan with a Degree in Nursing and worked as a nurse in labor and delivery at Strong Memorial Hospital. Susan and Gordon were married for 49 wonderful years. Susan was also a devoted mother and grandmother to Kris, Jenny, Jacob, Haleigh, Benjamin, Grace and Lillian. Susan was an avid animal lover who volunteered with the Animal Service League while conducting many of her own rescues. She loved all of God’s creatures, but especially loved her two dogs (Lassie & Mandy) and seven cats (Chloe, Star, Catelyn, Anna, Thaddeus, Sarah, Andrew and Brady). Susan loved to travel with Gordie and especially enjoyed her time living in Europe, the trip to her motherland, Poland, and her trip to see the Holy Land in Israel. In her spare time Susan enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but most of all enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and cats.
The Booth family would like to thank the U of R Hospice Care team for their compassionate care and guidance, while extending a special thanks to Michelle Lezo and her wonderful private care team, Kendra, Lisa and Mardy. This amazing team aided Susan, Gordon and the rest of the Booth family through a very difficult period. The compassion, professionalism and honesty shown to the family went above and beyond our expectations and will never be forgotten.
A special service for Susan will be hosted at the Rochester Cremation Event Center at 1118 Long Pond Road, Greece, NY 14626 on Saturday, July 2 nd . Visiting hours will be from 10am-12pm, followed by a Service from 12pm-1pm.
