Thursday, March 6, 2025, age 85. Predeceased by her mother, Varetta Kemmerling; father, Theodore Sedam; sister, Gretchen Niedermayer; husband, Kenneth “Ted” Kinsey. Survived by her son, Nathaniel Kinsey (Michelle McDonald); nieces and nephew.

A long time resident of Geneseo, NY, she was a flower and vegetable gardener, antique collector, historical researcher, author, home builder, weaver, philanthropist and open hearth cook. She moved to Geneseo in the 1960's to teach botany at the college and fell in love with the Genesee Valley- its scenery, history, and traditions.

There will be no public services.
