Rochester, NY – Passed away suddenly and peacefully on May 10, 2021 at age 99.

Predeceased by her sister Violet (Taylor) Luber, and her close friend Frank Ross.

Survived by her sister Evelyn (Taylor) Krause, and her nephews and nieces Frederick (Pat) Krause, James (Linda) Krause, Lorraine (Scott) Spencer, Thomas (Diane) Clarke, Pamela (Liudvikas) Bukys, and her grand-nephews and grand-nieces: JT (Laura) Krause, Brendan (Katie) Spencer, Matthew (Christina) Spencer, Elizabeth (Ryan) Miller, and Zechariah Bukys.

Virginie was a life-long resident of Greece, NY, a graduate of McKechnie-Lunger School of Commerce, and a Kodak employee for over 40 years. She was a world traveler, and an avid photographer of her travels and her nieces’ and nephews’ weddings. As a member of the Kodak Camera Club she gave many travelogues showcasing photographs taken of her adventures throughout the world. She was also active in the Ridgemont Garden Club, and a longtime member and golfer at Ridgemont Country Club.  She was a devoted aunt to her nieces and nephews, and kept up a lengthy correspondence with many friends through the years.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 10AM at St. John the Evangelist Greece,  2400 West Ridge Road, Rochester NY 14626.  Internment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
