Rochester NY: James passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loved ones on April 18, 2017 at the age of 59. Predeceased by his father Mario Buscemi. Survived by his loving fiance Gina Kelly, mother Gaetana Theresa Buscemi, children Michael (Stacey) Buscemi, Anthony Buscemi, Kasey (Mike) Lopez, Annamarie (Michael) Cooper, and Nicholas Buscemi. Granchildren Janyia, Kaydence, Angelina, Jamarion, Nia, and Branden. Also survived by his brother, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Jim was born and raised in New York City. He moved to Rochester in 1974. He loved music, cooking, talking, teaching, and spending time with his friends and family. He was a very proud, devoted, and loving man. His faith in the Lord carried him through his journey. He will be greatly missed.
Please join the family for James’ Visitstion Friday, April 21st from 10 am -12 pm at Riverside Cemetery, Chapel of Peace, 2650 Lake Avenue, Rochester NY 14612. His Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon.
