Known as Al, Passed away January 27, 2024 at the age of 73. He is predeceased by his parents Mary and Andrew Spatula Sr. , and brother Andrew Spatula Jr. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Spatula and children Chris Spatula (Lona), JoAnne (David) Ford, Karen Spatula (Tony), Kyle (Heather) Savage, Kurt Savage, and Amy Mcelligott, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Sam Spatula.
Alan grew up in Webster, NY and worked for National School Bus Service for most of his career as a bus mechanic. He finished his career and retired from the NYS Department of Transportation.
Alan was a quiet man but spoke volumes to those who loved him. He was a loving husband and father who loved to play chess and camp. He was a gun enthusiast. He spent most of his time camping and hiking with some occasional target practice. His favorite place to camp and hike was Huckleberry Lake.
A private ceremony for immediate family will be held at a later date.
