Rochester N.Y. – Passed away at home peacefully at age 67 on Friday, September 2nd, 2022. He was predeceased by his father Peter, stepmother Alice (Florida), brother Jon (Nunda) and stepfather Allen Bennem. He is survived by his mother Connie and his siblings Linda Kradin (Boston), Dianne Sherlock (Nunda), David Sherlock (LeRoy).
Survived by his loving wife Patti, and their children Angela, Keith and Christopher (Jessica), grandson Jack and granddaughter McKenna, along with many brother and sister- in-law’s, nieces and nephews and many friends.
Alan loved hunting and fishing. And to him it didn’t matter if he got anything, he just enjoyed being outdoors admiring nature. He also enjoyed snowmobiling with his brother Dave, and his love for his 1967 Camaro. He was a machinist by trade and did so for 48 years before retiring in June 2021.
Although he was taken from us too soon, he will live on in us all.
A celebration of life will be decided at a later date. If you wish to send a donation in his memory, you may consider the American Cancer Society.
Sherlock family, so sorry to hear this. He was truly one of the good ones. Taken way too young. Bless you all.
