Alex Pablo Santos passed away unexpectedly on December 11, 2022 at the age of 23.
Our family was not expecting for Alex’s life to be cut so short so soon. We are all devastated by this huge loss, and he will be forever missed. He had beautiful brown eyes and the biggest warm smile you can imagine. He was good and kind and sweet. And so smart. Every person he met would talk about how intelligent he is. He was born with a naturally sweet and kind soul, a heart of gold, and was always a joy to be around.
He loved the outdoors and nature. You could find him fishing or hunting all the time as a teenager and young adult. He had points in his life where he loved many different things. He spent significant time mastering and enjoying things like go-karts, four wheelers, dirt bikes, paintball, and motorcycling. He was extremely mechanically talented as well. He always knew how to take things apart, figure out the issue and fix it. It was like the language that he always just knew how to speak. He was the go-to person for all of his friends, family and neighbor’s car issues. He was rebuilding motors and fixing cars before his 13th birthday. When he was 18 years old, he bought his beloved Audi and did his first engine swap. He proved the impossible and put an A6 engine into an A4 body. He adored that car. Besides mechanical work he was also very interested in growing plants. He was passionate about the things he grew. He started with vegetables, then fruits and finally flowers, spices and healing herbs. He was really in touch with plants and the earth.
He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Barbara Brenhoch (who he was very close with) on June 25, 2022. He missed her deeply every single day since then.
He will always be remembered with much love by his heartbroken mother, Belinda Brenhoch (Anthony Perez), his father Luis Santos (Anna Santos), his sister Alysa B Rogers (Cole Rogers), his brother Luis Santos, his sister Krystyana Perez, and his nephew Cole Rogers Jr. As well as his deeply saddened girlfriend, his half siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and extended family. He also leaves behind his two cats, Xan and Molly.
He was also greatly loved and will be greatly missed by the many friends he’d made from growing up and living in Henrietta.
We can all find solace in knowing he’s been reunited with his grandmother. What a joyous reunion it must have been for them both.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours at 2pm with his Memorial service to begin at 2:45pm sharp on Sunday, December 18th, 2022 at White Haven Memorial Park, in the All Seasons Chapel located at 210 Marsh Rd, Pittsford, NY 14534.
