Rochester, NY: Alexander Sutherland, known as “Sandy”, was born July 28, 1947 and passed suddenly on January 1, 2020.
He is loved and missed dearly by his wife, Linda Peacock; brothers, John “Jeff” Sutherland and Don Sawyer; children, Ronald Peacock, Jennifer Calkins and Julie (Justin) Murawski; grandchildren, Erika Calkins, Ethan Alexander Calkins, Nicole Furnari-Alfano, Amanda Furnari and Lillian & Charlotte Murawski; and many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
He was a GREAT man who was ALWAYS willing to lend a helping hand and cared more about his family, than he did himself. He loved building and fixing things – especially cars – gardening, grilling and making us all laugh (especially his grandchildren).
Calling hours and a Celebration of Life will be held at Clifton Springs Hospital and Nursing Home, 3rd Floor Community Room, on Saturday, February 1st from 1-3pm.
