Rochester, NY- It is with great sorrow, the family of Anita DiGiovanni, age 61, announce her passing on March 18, 2023. Anita is now at rest with her parents Lucien and Joan DiGiovanni, brothers Lucien Jr and Daniel, and sister Lucy. She is survived by daughters, Kristine Prince (Derrick Green) and Nicole (Andre) Jones; brothers, Christopher and Ross DiGiovanni; blessed with seven grandchildren, Jasmine, Bruce (BJ), Yamarah Newton, Miguel and Sabian Suarez, Abria Jones, and Royal Green; great-grandson, Josiah Suarez; nieces, Autumn Roman, Amanda Greeley and Jessica DiGiovanni; best friend Carolyn Jones; William (Juni) Ramos.
The family would like to say thank you to the staff at Hildebrant Hospice Care Center for all the support they have given to her and our family during her stay.
In honor of Anita’s life, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either Hildebrant Hospice Care Center or Verona Street Animal Society.
In honor of Anita’s life, we will be hosting a celebration of life for family and friends on Friday, April 7th, 3 pm-6 pm with service at 5pm at Rochester Cremation, 1118 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626.

Aunt Anita…so much time lost. We both had tears in our eyes looking at each other. You saw your great nephew, Gabriel and were amazed at how much he looks like my father. We love you and now you’re in a much better place with our family under the wings of our Lord, God.
