Anna M. (Ach) Byers - Rochester Cremation

Rochester, NY: On April 10, 2023 at age 88, Anna Maria Byers (Ann), loving wife, mother, and grandmother left this world and was greeted in Heaven by her parents, Johann and Amelia Ach, and brother, Eduard Ach.

Born in Etzgersrieth, Bavaria, Germany, Ann moved to the United States in 1958 settling in Rochester, New York where she met her beloved Gene. They moved to Chili in 1963 and started their family. Ann was a long-time member of St. Helen’s Catholic Church, volunteering at the school and singing in the choir. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting, gardening, and traveling. She especially enjoyed dancing the polka, throwing parties, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Eugene; son, Carl (Kristin) Byers, daughter, Doreen (Ed) Falkowski, and five grandchildren, Edward III (Kelly) Falkowski, Samantha Falkowski, Karlainan Byers, Kwynn Byers, and Charles Byers; her siblings in Germany, Erna Wohlfarth and Elsie Ziegler, and Hans Ach; and many loving family and friends.

She will be remembered for her smile and for her laughter.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22nd at St. John the Evangelist Church, 55 Martha Street, Spencerport, NY at 10 am. A Rite of Committal and burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, 10 Glen Cairn Court.
