Anne (Cordwell) Kirchner

Anne Kirchner - Rochester, NY - Rochester Cremation

Webster, NY: Anne (Cordwell) Kirchner, loving wife and mother of five, peacefully passed surrounded by those who mattered most to her on September 1, 2020. Anne fought a courageous battle with Brain Cancer for a year, never complaining, never allowing the horrible disease to dull her light.

Anne made the Earth a better place on August 25th 1960, when she was born in Malone, NY, and raised by her pre deceased doting parents Margaret and David Cordwell, in Massena, NY. Anne loved nothing more than being a mother and raising her 5 children: David, (Kelsey) Danielle, (Peter) Robert, Michelle, Ryan and two dogs Barney and Cody, with the love of her life, Bruce Kirchner.

Anne’s positivity and love for life was contagious. She left everyone she knew a little better than they were before. She loved cheering her children on while they danced and played sports; was passionate about gardening, playing piano, baking, and doing crafts – and sneaking food for Barney at the dinner table!

Due to the pandemic, we will be celebrating Anne’s life at the White House Lodge (1100 Lake Road, Webster NY, 14580) on September 12th 2020 from 11:30 am-3:30 pm. There will be a limit of 50 people inside; masks will be required. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the National Brain Tumor Society (www.braintumor.org).

Such a sad time for anyone who knew her. You passed on my birthday and forever will bring sadness to that day and def will never be forgotten. Sitting around the campfires, playing games, going to watch the bands, watching you joust with my son and dancing will always be the fondest memories of camping at Reds. I’ve shed tears about the news and I know I will shed more. The only good thing is now you wont suffer any more pain and can rest in peace and look over your beautiful family. God speed and know you are missed. Richard SanFilippo
