Anne Klahn - Rochester Cremation

Rochester, NY:  Anne L. Klahn passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on October 3rd.  She was born June 3rd, 1968.  Anne is predeceased by her father William W. Klahn and her baby sister Leslie B. Klahn.  She is survived by her mother Kathryn A. Shacur; daughter, Jessica L. Klahn; Grandchildren, Gianna and John Paul; sister, Jennifer (Michael) Lapinski; brothers, William W. (Nancy) Klahn; John (Kristina) Klahn; Geoff (Michelle) Klahn; Michael (Ashley) Shacur and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life with a Memorial Service on October 12th at 1pm at the Hilton Exempts Club. 

Anne was a very intelligent and articulate woman who knew how to live her life to the fullest.  She received her bachelors degree in information technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.  She graduated with honors in the top four of her class.  At the high point in her career she worked for Xerox as well as Le Coupe de France.  Anne helped develop the UR Medicine MyChart online patient portal.  She has received many awards and accolades for her performance and accomplishments.  Anne had a great love for music and was always singing and playing her guitar.  She also had a huge love for people.  Her kind and generous heart was always willing to help whenever she could.  Anne loved and cherished her many pets throughout her lifetime.  They were her babies and always brought much joy into her life.  She had a beautiful smile and her laughter was uplifting and contagious.  Anne truly loved being a grandmother, she always lit up when she was with her grandchildren.  Above all else, she loved her daughter and family.  Anne’s family would like to thank all who loved her and helped her along the way.  She was a beautiful soul whose laughter was always contagious.  She will be greatly missed by many.

Donations are being accepted through Go Fund Me.  Her daughter, Jessica Klahn is handling the account.  The donations will be used for funeral expenses.  Anything above those costs will be donated in her name to the American Cancer Society at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.

    anne u will be forever be missed these last 5 years or so u have showed me a different life and the love that i havent felt in so long. u were like the mother i always wanted. u were a friend. i will always love u. till we meet again in my heart is where ill keep u friend. u will be missed
