Rochester, NY: September 26, 2019. Annmarie spent her final hours surrounded by her loving family. She was a kind and gentle person who lived for her family and always thought of others before herself.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, William F. Marasco. Survived by her daughter, Jessica, granddaughter, Angelica, her brother, sisters and brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Her family takes comfort in knowing she will finally be reunited with her loving husband.
To honor Annmarie’s wishes, there will be a private family gathering in her memory.
I love you more than anything in this world.. thank you for loving Angelica and I more then life itself.. you were an amazing mom and grandma.. I love you and always will!!
You were always there for me in good times and bad. I remember like It was yesterday when I told you I was diagnosed with cancer, you could not believe it and you grabbed me and gave me a BIG HUG. I would love for a HUG from you right now. You took me to all my follow up appointments after my surgeries. I am going to MISS you so much. Always remember you have a special place in my HEART. I love you Annmarie. You were a good friend but more important you were like a second MOM to me. Rest in Peace.

Annmarie may not have been my Aunt by blood, but she was every bit family. Always happy to see us, always asking how life was going, and always taking a genuine interest in our response. I believe she truly loved all of us Gerbinos as her own blood. I have nothing but the fondest of memories with her growing up and I always enjoyed seeing her. She will be missed very much. My condolences to all her immediate family and anyone else whose life she touched such as mine.

She was a very good neighbor She is like a grandma to me she was all way there for me if when I have problems. I all way check On her a if she need anything. I am going her so much it is not the same no more I love her. I am here for you and the family I love you guys

Gentleness is a gift from God. We all don’t have it but His gift to all of us who knew Ann Marie was her. Her gentleness and kindness to all of us was refreshing each and every time I had contact with her. Gentle souls are rare, she had a presence that was soothing each time I was around her. It was both a privilege and a blessing to have Annmarie in our life. Her smile lit up the room, she sang like an angel and her heart was open to everyone, always. It is so very hard to imagine life without her thoughtfulness, humor and vibrancy. Her capacity to love was one of Ann’s greatest lessons. For so many of us, Annmarie was the rainbow that appears during and right after a storm. Jessica and Angelica were that unforgettable sparkle in her eye, the notes in her voice and her sweet angels here on earth.
The poet Marcel Proust wrote, “Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy. They are the Charming Gardeners who make our souls blossom”. Thank you Ann for being our charming gardener.
She is with her beloved husband Bill now, with gossamer wings, singing with the angels. We will never forget the lessons that she taught us about life, happiness, friendship and love.
