Arline passed away peacefully at age 98 on May 19, 2024. Predeceased by her husband Herbert. Survived by her 3 children; Douglas (Otivia), Debra (Martin) Kaptein, Sandra (Mark) Schickler. 3 grandchildren; Bridgette (Adam) Jones, Alexander and Karl Kaptein. 2 great grandchildren; Heidi and Noah. Beloved niece Robin Hale and many more loved nieces and nephews from the extended Watts family.
Arline was a stay-at-home Mom, who also worked along side her husband at the family business. Proudly, Arline became a grandmother and helped with childcare, loving every minute and making lasting memories with her grandchildren. Arline mastered email and loved to dabble in creating homemade greeting cards to stay in touch with the family. Arline maintained her independence and fondly cared for her dog Lily and cat Smokey.
Lively until the end, whether a rousing political argument with her son in laws, playing Scrabble and enjoying every moment with her great grandchildren. Arline’s spirit will live on in all of us.
Celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
