Barbara Ann Jepsen

Barbara Ann Jepsen - Spencerport, NY - Rochester Cremation

Barbara Ann Jepsen, born March 18th 1963, lost her 15 month battle with cancer on Tuesday afternoon, November 30th, 2021 with her family at her bedside in her home in Spencerport, NY.

She is survived by her husband Paul, her son Paul, and daughter Brittany (and partner Daemon). Barbara’s other family members include her brothers Tom and John Samanick, John’s wife Claire and her daughter Angela, her sister Joanne Zazzerino and her husband Lenny and their daughter Joelle all whom reside in New Jersey.

Barbara was an IBM employee as a Mainframe Storage Architect for close to 3 decades, a caring wife and devoted mother to her 2 children who will sorely miss her. She adored animals and very much enjoyed her time in the kitchen as she was an excellent chef and a foodie. There will be no calling hours but donations to the ASPCA is what she requested. Paul, Paulie, and Brittany, I was truly sorry to hear of Barbara’s passing. As you know better than any of us, she was an amazing person and was a real fighter. I’ve had the opportunity to work with her at IBM over the years and truly valued her technical expertise, her passion for our clients, and her total dedication to her teammates. Though my relationship with her was a professional one, I do know that the most important things in her life were each of you. I can only imagine how difficult these days have been for you all. My wish for you all is that you will find comfort in the treasured memories you have and you will find strength to face each day. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers each and every day! Paige Mizak
