June 4, 2023, at age 61, Bethany Ruth Bolles, after a brief illness, transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home. Bethany is predeceased by her father, Thomas E. Bolles. She is survived by her mother, Sandra K. Bolles; brothers, Stephen Sr. (Jill) and Jonathan Sr. (Sarah) and sister, Debora; 23 nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by multitudes of friends who love her dearly!
Bethany loves her family fiercely and is so incredibly proud of them. She is faithful to encourage others consistently and cares deeply for her friends with selfless loyalty no matter the cost. She loves golfing, spending time on or near the water and being outdoors having an adventure. Her favorite thing, her greatest passion, is to worship her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whether alone, as part of the congregation, or leading from the front. She lives to know Him more and to make Him known.
A scripture passage that represents her so well is Romans 12:1-2. “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters; in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Bethany graduated from Livonia Central School in 1979. She attended Elim Bible Institute from 1980-1982. She then attended and graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY in 1985. She worked for Hahn Automotive in Rochester, NY in a variety of positions for 33 years. She attended and served at the same church for 40 years. It went through three name changes and 5 lead Pastors during that time.
Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 10:00 am. (Encounter Church NY, 3555 Union Street, North Chili, NY 14514).
Thank you to the incredible staff at Highland Hospital for their kindness, compassion and great care of Beth during her short time there. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Joaquin and Susy Noroña, a missionary couple that Beth has been passionate about supporting through Modern Day Missions.

My heart goes out to all of you on your loss! You are all in my prayers for the God of all comfort to be near you and give you peace.
Thinking of your family during this time of sorrow and knowing you will keep Bethany in your hearts until you are together again.
Love Rochelle 💕
Prayers for the repose of Beth’s soul. May she rest in peace and rise in glory! She was a good friend to me way back when in our early teens. One of my favorite memories is going to the Canandaigua drive-in with her and my brother, Stephen, to all see the original Star Wars movie for the very first time. We all sat together in the front seat with me in the middle. Sorry for cutting in there, Beth LOL. She had a great smile and laugh and a way of showing her loving spirit even back then. You will be missed and we will see you again in glory.
