Brockport, NY: November 28, 2018 at age 76 went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after managing decades of heart disease and years of stage 4 kidney disease. Bev (Babcock) Selover was predeceased by her parents (Grover Babcock and Ethel Dennison) and has no living family members. Bev was a dedicated and disciplined nurse who became the first nurse practitioner for pediatrics in the Rochester area. Bev is survived by her precious companion cat of 14 years, Mr. Meiko, and her close friends and supporters, Ann and Jon Burghardt.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Baptist Church in Brockport on January 13 at 4 pm (call 637-2470 for additional information).
Bev or as we lovingly called her,” Beaver ” went to nursing school The Genesee School of Nursing with me and our class became very close. We lived in the dorm, and lived, studied and practiced the art of nursing together. It was a 3 year program, and we made many life long friendships.
Beaver, we loved you then, and we will miss you in the future. May you rest in peace, Judy DeRycke
