Brenda Lee Vazquez “My Mom”  (Benjamin, Russell), 54 of Mount Morris Rd in Mount Morris, NY passed unexpectedly September 17th, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester NY.

She was born May 18th, 1967 to Beverly (Horton) and Robert Benjamin in Montour falls, NY.

She was predeceased by her twin brother Bryan, Mother Beverly, Father Robert and Step Father Gerald. Best friend Anna Cratsley.

She is survived by her Husband, Alfonso Vazquez; Children, Matthew Benjamin of Leicester, Shannon(Brandon)Baker of Corning, Amber Russell of Leicester, Joshua(Kristina) Russell of Corning, Step Daughter Alicia Russell of Odessa;
Grandchildren Dakota, Kiara, Blake, Slade, Serenity, Linkyn, Eduardo, Perryn, Demi, Riley, Analee, Skarlett, Ryker and Rayn;
Siblings Robert Benjamin of Depaulville, Luann Benjamin(Pat Girouard) of  NH, Melanie(Floyd) Sharma of Corning, Jeff Benjamin and Karen Belmonte of Painted Post, Glenna Clark Morrow (Todd) of Beaver Dams; Close friends Becky Zambito, Debbie Geiger, Missy Potter, Colleen Springer, Stephanie Spezzano and Neighbor Holly; also many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

Brenda graduated from Corning-Painted Post West High School in 1985 . After raising her kids, she went on to work for Ponderosa in Geneseo then to Walmart in Geneseo, where she worked for many years.  She had many coworkers that she loved and adored. Brenda was a loving person with such a huge heart. She loved spending time with her Kids and Grandkids, going to church and being at the beach, especially Myrtle Beach. She will be missed terribly.

A Memorial Service will be held for Brenda on Saturday October 9th at 11am at the Village Baptist Church in Mt Morris, NY located at 39 1/2 Chapel St, Mount Morris, NY with Pastor White officiating.  All are welcome.

    This lady was such a caring, loving, trustworthy woman I know. Everything I saw her she would be sure my husband and I were ok and not needing anything. She called to check on us. My heart is broken 💔 and I’m missing you. RIP Brenda. We will see each other again.

    Mommy I miss you so much life is not the same without you, sometimes I wonder why you and not me , I wish we could change places , I would have gave my life for yours, everything we went through together, you taking care of me to me taking care of you, you were my best friend and my everything, I love you and miss you so much.
