Rochester: September 24, 2014 at age 63. Brian is survived by his son, Brian D. (Charlotte) Zipkey, Jr.; grandchildren, Brian J. Zipkey, Alex Zipkey & Ayanna Zipkey-Marquez; brother, Kevin Zipkey, Sr.; nephew, Kevin Zipkey, Jr. and family; many dear friends. He is predeceased by his wife, Barbara Zipkey & daughter, Sarah Zipkey.
In his spare time, Brian enjoyed racing, painting and mechanics. Brian will be sadly missed and honored for all the courage he showed us through life and will be remembered for his old movies and advise he always gave on mechanical repairs.
Brian’s Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, September 30th 10 A.M. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (please meet the family at the Dewey Avenue Gate of the Cemetery).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, NationalMSSociety.org, in his memory as Brian lived with MS for over 25 years.
