Rochester, NY – January 23, 2022 at age 58. Teresa is predeceased by her father Ramon Vélez and her brother Raymond Vélez, Jr. She is survived by her husband Charles Penna, her mother Carmen Vélez, her sister Annie Vélez, her 3 aunts Margarita Vélez Pérez, Julia Vicente and Victoria Nazario. Her 6 nieces Irene Lillie, Jenny Young, Melissa Scott, Bianca Vélez, Amelinda Griffin and Tanya Vélez with their 10 sons and daughters. Also 14 cousins and many friends.
She retired as a daycare provider due to her failing health. She was a volunteer in her community as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved fashion design, collected owls and loved to read. She was an extremely loving, mild and humble person to all. She graduated with an Associates Degree from Monroe Community College.
Memorial Service will be held at the Genesee Valley Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Saturday, February 5th at 1:00pm via Zoom.
