Irondequoit, NY: Carol Lenahan went home to be with the Lord on November 8, 2018 while surrounded by her devoted husband Ron. Born 1946 in Nebraska, her family moved to Buffalo when she was four years old. She had a passion for hair styling, earning her degree in cosmetology. She met her beloved husband Ron in 1965 and they married in June 1966, where Carol was Ron’s princess and Ron was her knight in shining armor for 52 years of marriage. Together Ron and Carol had three children David, Alicia, and Joshua. Ron and Carol began their journey in Christ in 1978 and founded Faith to Faith Fellowship, a Christ Centered Church, in 1990. Along with being a Pastor’s wife Carol was a homemaker, a Burger Queen, and a talented artist. Carol was an avid member of the Irondequoit Art Club and sold many of her knitted pieces and watercolor paintings. Besides art, Carol enjoyed collecting sea glass along her walks on the beach and especially loved when the wind made the waves curl across the surf. She also had a passion for music; enjoying Blues, Jazz and Praise and Worship.
Carol is survived by her devoted husband Ron, her mother Lynn, children David (Laura), Alicia, Joshua (Janet) and five grandchildren Julia, Jacob, Emma, Cassidy and Jenna.
Please join her family in a celebration of her life and for fellowship at Living Water Christian Fellowship on Saturday, November 17th at 2pm. The Church is located at 1440 East Ridge Road, Rochester, NY 14621.
