Cary Arthur Rapini passed away peacefully August 8, 2020, at his home in Fairport, NY. Cary was born June 20, 1948 in Geneva, NY, the son of Arthur J. and Sophia M. (Borys) Rapini. He is survived by his wife, Norma J. (Lucas) Rapini; step-son, Jeff (Laura) Lucas; granddaughter, Skylar Rose Lucas; brothers, Arthur (Suzanne) Rapini, Mark (Mona) Rapini, Duane (Sharon) Rapini, Jeffery (Molly) Rapini, Brett (Kim Trickler) Rapini; sister, Heather (Joe Colon) Rapini; nieces, nephews and cousin; and predeceased by his parents.
Cary graduated from DeSales High School, Class of 1966. He earned a Bachelor Degree in History at St. Joseph’s College, Rensselaer, Indiana in 1971. He enjoyed working in his garden and carefully preserved the century old grape vines of his Grandfather who inspired him. An avid sports fan, he supported his local lacrosse team and was devoted to the Giants, Mets, Celtics and “The Greatest of Them All”. His family loved him, and he will be greatly missed.
Internment will be at White Haven Cemetery, Pittsford, NY. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

I went to college with Cary and he was a wonderful man even at that age. I am happy he is now with The Lord.
