Hartwick, NY: Catherine P. Wellman, age 88 and most recently resided in Spencerport, NY was married to Gerard A. Wellman (Rod) on Sept 10, 1955 and passed away on Oct 3, 2021.
Catherine was predeceased by her loving husband Oct 07, 2011 and by her son David G. Wellman, Oct 19, 2003. She is survived by her son Bruce (Julie) Wellman Sr, daughter Janet (Luis) Fonseca, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, her sister Vivian Spezio, many very special nieces and nephews, and dear friends Debbie and Grant Ward.
Catherine enjoyed years of traveling and camping with her family, crafting hobbies, cooking, and often remembered those dearest to her with beautiful handwritten letters. She had a soft spot for children, a love of animals, and a passion for flowers.
Catherine was an employee of The Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital and was also a long-time partner with Rod in the Hartwick Garage business.
