June 6, 2023: Passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the age of 69. Predeceased by his Father Charles Neary, son Steven Neary, Nephew David Neary and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Survived by his mother Thelma Neary-Lochner, wife Lisa Neary, sons Jonathan and Bryan Neary, brothers Thomas (Joanne) and Daniel Neary, sisters Patricia Neary and Nancy Neary, daughter in law Sarah Neary, grandson Garrett Neary, uncle Richard (Susan) Neary, aunt Carol Gurgel and a large extended family of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Charlie was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High school and MCC. He retired from Eastman Kodak and LG Harris Corp.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday June 12, 2023 from 2pm to 5pm at Rochester Cremation Greece, 1118 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Lung Association in his memory.
I was so sad to see this obituary. I have such fond memories of Chuckie and all of the Neary family from Arcadia Parkway summers. I spent a good part of my summers with my cousin, Nick (Proia), when we were growing up. The three of us, Nick, Chuckie, and me, were together most, if not all, of the time. He patiently went along with whatever Nick and I wanted to do. He drove us everywhere! We had a lot of fun together. He was a kind and generous soul. May many memories bring you comfort and peace.
