Chili: August 30, 2013 at age 49. Christine is predeceased by her parents, Antoinette & Henry “Bud” Burkhard; mother-in-law, Ruth Ackerman. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Robert Ackerman; daughter, Gina Ackerman; father-in-law, John Ackerman; her “fur” babies; brothers and sisters-in-law; aunts and uncle; several nieces and nephews; cousins; dear friends.
Christine’s Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 6th 9:30 at St. Pius X Church, 3000 Chili Avenue, Chili NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lollypop Farm (Lollypop.org) in her memory.

Chris was an amazing person and an incredible aunt she loved her family and they meant everything to her. She will be greatly missed and there is a hole in our family that can not be replaced. We love and miss you Aunt Chris

Chris was a great co worker and friend. She treated people with respect and she gained the respect of those who had the great pleasure of working with her at HCR. She had a special way of resolving differences in a manner that was fair and honest because she cared deeply about both the patients and the employees. I learned so much from her over the years!
Her sense of humor, her unique laugh and big smile always made me laugh as we shared so many special moments long the way.

She was always a blessing to me. She was my teacher, mentor and friend. We shared many good times and not so good times together. The first time we met at HCR we knew that we were meant to do that work together. We learned to trust each other. We cried together and laughed together. We encouraged each other and scolded each other. We fought and made up, we disagreed and supported each other in our disagreement. We called each other MUTT and JEFF. 🙂
