We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Christopher D Monast (Guy), 47, of Chili, New York. He was born in Rochester, New York on January 13th, 1973 and passed away on June 17th, 2020.
Christopher is survived by his wife of 29 years Jennifer; daughter Gabrielle, his Sweet-a-Weet-a-Pea; mother Kathleen Giesen (Ryan); brother Michael (Pam) Monast; sister Lisa Hannabach (Monast); Aunt Karen; several nieces, nephews and cousins; brother-in-law Jeff(Jennie) Nelson; many family and friends.
If you knew him, I’m sure he touched your heart or made you laugh, as you realized he was truly a one-of-a-kind guy with a heart of gold.

We met as mutual friends 29yearsago and through out the years your friend and family became my friends and family..And vice versa mine became yours…you taught me everything I know about horticulture.. somehow along the line we became BROTHERs… well it’s hard to say goodbye to such a great friend and loving brother,,,so until we meet again,I will always think of you when I hear the song”see you on the other side”

I am sorry for your loss, Guy will be greatly missed. We talked at length at Mike’s wedding and growing up with him he was always a wild and crazy guy lol.
