Colie M. Schoonover of Wellsville, NY passed away on Tuesday August 30,2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born November 10, 1945 the son of late Caleb and Arlene Schoonover.
Colie is survived by 2 sons, Jason (Angel) Schoonover of Dalton, NY and Caleb (Gena) Schoonover of Belmont, NY. 5 grandchildren, Austin, Madison, Owen, Ella and Ava. 2 great grandchildren Nova and Blake. 1 brother Harold (Cindy) Schoonover and a sister Hazel Laughlin.
He found his career at Foster Wheeler in Dansville, NY; where he retired after 31 years.
He will be remembered as an avid hunter, trapper and fisherman. He also had a great sense of humor, enjoyed going to “dances” and old western movies.
To honor Colie’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
Sorry to hear this, I have a lot of fun good memories with Colie, he was good to me .
