Cynthia Harter Odell “Cissy”

Cynthia Harter Odell - Rochester Cremation

7/21/48-4/25/22

My Cissy, 73, of Rochester, NY passed suddenly due to an unknown battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

For those who knew Cissy know how she throughout her life overcame many challenges. My mom is my best friend, and I will miss our daily conversations. My heart hurts and is truly broken.

Cissy loved shopping with friends for her Chachkie’s, taking vacation bus tours, seeing musicals, Tuesday morning breakfast with her bff’s, monthly dinners with the Penny’s Crew, going to Movies 10, and pool picnics at my house. My mom always helped everyone with anything they needed and lived life selflessly.

Survived by her daughter Jennifer (Kevin) Odell English. Her grandsons Jesse Jonathan Odell and Jake Odell English whom loved her more than words can say. Her pupper Rosie and all her LIFE LONG FRIENDS. Daughter Amy (Many grandchildren and great grandchildren) and Brother Steve.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held on May 15th from Noon-3pm @ Gallos Bar & Grill, 52 Railroad Ave, Hamlin, NY 14464 with Drinks and a Brunch Buffet.

I only met Cynthia 1 time. I had gone over to see her and Steve’s Moms the night she passed and Cynthia was there and her and I hung out in the room with Mom and got to know each other and from there we were friends 😊 I am so sorry for the families loss! Hugs to all of you.

My condolences to the family of Cindy. Although we have not seen each other for many years, I do remember some good times together with Bob Osborne, and my late husband, Tony Legno. May you rest in peace.
