Cynthia Marcello - Rochester Cremation

Cynthia Marcello, 46, of Rochester, New York passed away November 19th, 2023 peacefully surrounded by the love of her life and life partner Albert Dodaro, best Friend Karianne Mitchell, and furbabies Jinx Mitchell and Mattingly “Mayhem” Mitchell.

Cynthia was born November 18th, 1977, in Yonkers, New York.  First and foremost, to Cynthia, her amazing children Thomas “Dallas”, Italya, and Giavanna were her pride and joy.   She was a jack of all trades but had a distinct love for animals.  She was known to be called the “Animal Whisperer.”  No matter what type of animal she just had a way with them and a love for them all.   She also had a love of fishing and was known as “Cynthia the Catfish Queen.”  A die-heart Dallas Cowboys fan.  She was the type of friend that always had her friends back a true “Ride of Die.”  Cynthia and Albert spent over 9 years together and their love was true, real and pure.  November 16th, 2023, in a commitment ceremony they committed their lives together.

Cynthia is survived by her children Thomas “Dallas” Bates, Italya Miller and Giavanna Miller.    Her mother Nancy Esposito, biological father George Hluboky (Lisa).   Brother John Marcello.  As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and a nephew that loved her dearly.

She is predeceased by grandparents Victor and Elizabeth (Betty) Esposito and adoptive father John Marcello.

Per Cynthia’s wishes she will be cremated, and a private viewing for a few special people.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ARNI Foundation, a global organization that helps animal rescues and animal shelters around the country.  You can find them on instagram or via Venmo @Arni_foundation.

We met through animal rescue and became friends very easily. You were a true champion and never refused to help in one way or another. You were smart, kind, funny and most of all compassionate towards others who needed a voice. I am so sorry you had so many struggles in life and that you had to fight so many battles. We are all better for having known you and the world is missing a truly decent person tonight. Cynthia, you were special and have left a void in your absence. RIP my friend.

I’m so sorry you left us so young Cyn. I will miss our talks and how you always came to our house on weekends, Years ago. How you surprised me for my birthday .in NJ Shopping trips , Dorney Park, Hershey Park or just hanging out at Jordan Park with the kids. All the Sebastian Bach shows we went to.
You were there for me when I was sick and made dinner for us all. I will miss your smiling face. And your sense of humor. You were beautiful inside and out. I hope you are finally at peace surrounded by love and all the beautiful animals you saved. Until we meet again. Love and miss you my friend.
