Honeoye Falls, NY: Daniel Frank Tack passed away peacefully at home Friday November 8, 2019. Dan was a passionate person and did much for community, friends, employees and family without asking anything in return. He was loved and will be missed.
He is survived by his daughters, Elaine Vedette Tack, Linda Prince Tack, Leslie Ann Brown, his son in law Ray Brown and his two grandchildren, Spencer Brown and Mirin Brown.
Donations in his name may be made to the Thousand Island Emergency Rescue Service and The Dan Tack Annual Muskie Catch and Release Tournament via Save the River Clayton, NY.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held Monday December 9 at the Pittsford Community Center Room 107 from 4:30-6:30 pm. On July 19, 2020, there will be a Remembrance Gathering at the Clayton Opera House at 1 pm.
Elaine, Linda and Leslie. I just now heard about your fathers passing. He was so kind to my husband and I when we knocked on his door 12 years ago. We were on our honeymoon and the home had been my late grandfather’s place for many years. Your father invited us to some charity event, where we met one of you. He gave me a beautiful duck decoy, which I still lovingly have. He even hosted us one night for a boat ride and dinner. You had an amazing father, we just wanted to share our sympathies.
