It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Leonard Pickard announces his passing on February 12, 2022, at the age 61.
Danny was a heart of GOLD. He had a heart no one else has. The love he gave was so selfless, anyone he cared about came before himself.
He was a protector, a backbone, very sharp and quick witted. Impeccably funny and fiercely stubborn.
His jokes and sense of humor was the highlight of everyone’s day. He was the king of song “name that tune” no one could beat him. He had an irresistible CHARM = “his many girlfriends”…
Everybody loved Danny.
To me, growing up he was an angel, my heart of gold.
Nicest person with the biggest heart till the day he closed his eyes.
The paths he crossed touched us all.
You became a backbone and a true best friend, YOU are already so missed.
He is now survived by All that Loved him…
SWEET DREAMS BABY BRO!!! You’ll now rest in peace. YOUR LOVE WILL BE SPREAD ALL OVER!!!

What sad news. Dan and I were friends in the late 1970s. We met working at Star Market in Henrietta. We lost touch when his family moved to Florida. My friendship with Dan was short lived but I have very fond memories of him. He was such a handsome, caring, respectful, soft spoken young man at the time. So sorry for your loss.
