We Love You Pops!
Miss you so much Old Man! I still see you waving out the door, flickering the front light everytime we drive out from your driveway. Everytime we play cards or board games I will think of you “trying” to cheat. I will always remember our jokes, our talks, just hanging out. Your were more than a father-in-law, you were my friend, and I will never forget your heart, your laugh, your tremendous smile! Thank you for all the wonderful memories and for welcoming me into the family. Be at peace, struggle no more, no more pain, no more sickness. Keep an eye on us up there as you always did down here. Until we meet up again, Love you.
Rest In Peace Big Dave. I have so many memories with you and the family growing up your next door neighbor and you and my Dad being best friends. I know he was waiting for you to hug ya and probably talk to you about hunting. I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye but the bond our family’s have you know I love you regardless.
It has been a great honor growing up knowing you! You were such a great husband and father and have one of the biggest hearts I’ve known! You always knew how to make everyone laugh and your smile is contagious! I will never forget you and you and your family will always be in my heart and prayers!
My Shrimp boy! I will never forget you! Lots of memories. I am so blessed I was able to get a big hug from you recently. You are a great father and I know you will be missed very much. Always in our hearts. Love always your Shrimp girl….
Dad, It is hard to believe that you are no longer here on earth with us. Every time I go to the house, I wait for you to come wheeling out of the hallway, or I listen for your bedroom door to open. I miss you sitting by the front door, collecting up on the sun with a great big smile! I see your car and imagine you just taking a nap with the heat cranked! I miss your face and your infectious smile. I miss your evening calls, just checking in. I miss everything about your absence dad. I will always remember the fight you gave until you had no more fight to give. I will always remember your sadness as you talked about never wanting to leave us. The tears, the smiles, the love that I got to share with you. I am so thankful that was able to be there with you until the very end. You are the bravest person ever, dad and I will never forget you. I love you for eternity!! I will think of you every single day until we meet again.
