David Johnson was born December 20,1936 in Sanford Florida to the late Lonnie Johnson, and Edith McGill. At an early age, the family moved to Rochester NY where he attended school.
Around the age of Seventeen, David then moved to Trenton, New Jersey where he worked as a chef cook. While living in Trenton he married his late wife Bernice Johnson. After the death of his wife, David moved back to Rochester, NY around 1999.
David passed away at the age of 83 on June 19, 2020. David was preceded in death by his parents Lonnie Johnson and Edith McGee; his wife, Bernice Johnson; his sisters Helen Bradford, and Pauline Terrell; his brothers Nathaniel Kitt and Lonnie Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memory one sister Dolly Brown of Gainesville, Florida; and one brother George Johnson of Trenton, New Jersey; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
