Avon, NY – August 9, 2023 at age 82 from congestive heart failure. David is survived by his best friend and loved companion of 48 years Diana McKinney. He is also survived by his children, Wandalee Bernardo, Lynda Cheney, David Bump II and Paul (Krissy) Bump, 5 grandchildren: Dominic (Christina) Bernardo, Nina Bernardo, Tabytha (Tony) Jarvis, Ashley Cheney, Adam (Jaime) Cheney, one great grandson Luca Bernardo and a great granddaughter on the way Baby Jarvis, loving family and friends.
He was retired from Eastman Kodak with 25 years as an Instrument Maker. He was born in NH and enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He also enjoyed watching golf.
No prior calling hours per David’s request. Donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
