Ruthie, you are in our hearts and prayers during this time of loss, mourning and transition. Dean was a very caring and loving human. He was always ready and willing to help but the last one to ask for help for himself. I’ll miss my friend, driver and pushing me thru the snow and slush of our Rochester winters.

Rest well my love no more pain. Guess we didn’t make the big 50 but 47 1/2 yrs is pretty respectable. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Henrietta United Church of Christ, 1400 Lehigh Station Rd, Hen., NY, 14467.

While technically, Dean was a biological cousin, I was fortunate enough to have gotten 9 yrs with his closer family.

I’ve always considered him & Sue, to have been my only siblings.

I remember getting out of school (Kindergarten) & getting to go to his Army graduation, later getting to go into the comersary with him, & him buying me a QUART , thanks to a woman, at best I could only grow to tolerate,

He was one GREAT BIG BROTHER (

    Sadly, thanks to Hurricane Jane,

While technically, Dean was a biological cousin, I was fortunate enough to have gotten 9 yrs with his closer family.

I’ve always considered him & Sue, to have been my only siblings.

I remember getting out of school (Kindergarten) & getting to go to his Army graduation, later getting to go into the commissary with him, & him buying me a QUART of milk that seemed incredibly impossible to drink, but being to shy to admit I hated milk.

Another time, I remember him at the yellow house ?35 Fair St. (My fav. , 1st house, 33.) cooking eggs, & I guess I must of ?’d I didn’t know he could cook, & his reply being,
“All the great chef’s are men.” So thru the years, when ask if I could cook, I always told ppl from what my brother taught me, why bother, because all the best cooks are men :D.

It’s possible that my son, having grown up, & always using that as an excuse to get out of cooking when I could, took Culinary Arts in HS.

In short, he was one GREAT BIG BROTHER for the time I had him.

Have missed the family for a long time.

    Love Penny
