Dennis Babiarz, 52, of Rochester, New York, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2023. He was a beloved husband, son, father, and grandfather.
Dennis was always a kid at heart, finding joy in simple pleasures. He had a passion for fireworks, casinos, and was a dedicated Buffalo Bills fan. Known for his anticts and kind heart, Dennis was always quick to make others smile and would go out of his way to help those in need.
Dennis is survived by his devoted wife Karen Babiarz, his son Brett (Amanda) Kellar, his daughters Brianna and Mikayla Babiarz, his cherished grandchildren Andrew and Isabella Kellar, his loving mother, Victoria Colicci, his sister Theresa Schramm, and many nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Benedetto Colicci.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Hildebrant Hospice Care Center for their exceptional care and support during Dennis’s final days. They would also like to extend a special thank you to his wife Karen and their children for their unwavering love and dedication, ensuring Dennis’s comfort at home.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday October 8, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life dinner from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Jack’s Place at Chili Country Club, located at 760 Scottsville-Chili Rd, Scottsville, NY 14546. Everyone is welcomed at both parts of the service.
His burial will be held on Tuesday October 10th, 2023 at 11am at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, located at 2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Hildebrant Hospice Care Center in memory of Dennis Babiarz, or to the family’s GoFundMe to help with end of life expenses;
Dennis will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His laughter, generosity, and love for life will forever be remembered. May he rest in peace.
