Dennis Fish- Rochester, NY - Rochester Cremation

Dennis Roy Fish, 71, of Rochester, NY passed away on June 9, 2020 after a courageous battle against cancer.  Dennis is predeceased by his love, Lisa Marie Linton.  He is survived by his daughters Jennifer (Lou) Angora and Michele Levcik; grandsons Dylan Angora, Tyler Angora, and Ryan Levcik.

Sgt. Dennis Fish was a decorated Vietnam Veteran, earning the Bronze Star medal, the Army Commendation medal, the National Defense Service medal, the Vietnam Service medal, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Ribbon with Device.  Although he rarely talked about his service, we have learned of his courage, bravery, and dedication while in Vietnam. He was a hero then and has been our hero ever since.

We are eternally grateful to his son-in-law Lou Angora who was always there for the heavy lifting and support for his daughters; his friend Julie Drake who brightened his heart and took wonderful care of him over the past couple years; his friend Joe (Marcia) Clark who was his closest friend and confidant; and his many, many other friends who loved him dearly.

There will be a Celebration of Life held in his honor on Thursday, July 9th, 2020 from 5pm to 8pm.  Dennis’ military honors will be held at 6pm.  Location will be 75 Stutson St., Rochester, NY 14612.

    To his beautiful family,

Thank you for sharing him with us over the years. It was truly our pleasure getting to know him. He will always hold a special place in our heart. A gentle and loving soul. Hanging out at the ball field, and loads of camping brought so much pleasure, most particularly when he was around. Denny, thank you for being an amazing person and friend. You will always be remembered fondly, and forever missed. Much love to the entire family, the Frosinis

I remember Dennis coming in for lunch where I worked years ago. He liked extra potato chips, and I always made sure he got them. Dennis was so kind to all of us, and funny too. He always brightened my day! I remember him as pleasant, fun and easy to talk to. He really did make everyone laugh and smile. Deepest condolences to all his friends and family. May he rest in peace.
