Canaseraga & Rochester, New York: Diane M. Nelson (Mills), 78 years of age, passed away peacefully, Monday morning, November 6, 2023 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY.
Diane was born July 13, 1945, in Alameda, California, the daughter of George and Veronica Mills. She resided in California, Nevada and then relocated to upstate New York. Diane was a retired RN who spent her career caring for others. She enjoyed knitting, caring for her pets, gardening, and raising various farm animals. She will be missed by her family and numerous friends in Rochester as well as in Canaseraga, NY.
Diane was pre-deceased by her parents, George and Veronica Mills. She survived by her son DJ (Jennifer) Nelson of Scottsville; Her daughter, Ramona McGill of OH; her grandson, Jordan (Rachael) Parker of Washington, DC. Brothers Fred Mills of FL, and Terry Mills of WA.
Diane’s family will carry out her wishes and celebrate her life privately. Contributions in memory of Diane M. Nelson may be made to Lollypop farm, Fairport NY.
