Donald George Cash (Don), age 70, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on the evening of Tuesday, October 20, 2020, following a short battle with cancer.
Don leaves behind his son, Timothy George Cash; daughter, Emily Lin Cash; wife and companion of 48 years, Eileen Cash; grandsons Maximilian George Cash and Leonardo Joseph Cash; sisters Judith (Cash) Anderson, Cheryl (Cash) Richardson, and Suzanne Cash; and many close friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Marion Cash.
Don grew up in Hamburg, NY and graduated from Hamburg High School. He attended Rochester Institute of Technology and earned a degree in architectural design. He was a longtime employee at Iron City Sash and Door in Victor, NY and Kozel Steel in Rochester, NY. During his retirement years Don enjoyed doing wine tours throughout the Finger Lakes Region of Western New York.
Don was an avid musician, playing bass guitar for over 50 years throughout the area, many years with his son, Timothy and friend Randy Jones. Don also was an accomplished fine woodworker, carpenter, and craftsman.

Very sorry for your loss. Although it was many years ago now, playing music with Don was some of the best times Ive ever had. He was the very definition of a gentleman. RIP my friend.
