Donna was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 4, 1965 and died Wednesday July 10, 2024 in Rochester, NY. She was 58 years old.
There are no words to describe how much she will be missed by her friends, family, and especially her longtime companion and future spouse Fran Phillips. They were to be married this Christmas Season.
Donna was predeceased by her father James and mother Louise Pennstrom Allegretti as well as one sister, Laura Allegretti.
Along with her fiancé Fran, she is survived by her brothers Frank and Mark Allegretti, Mark’s spouse Diane Allegretti, and her sister Terry Langschultz, Terry’s husband John, as well as four nephews, two nieces, and several cousins.
Donna attended Keuka College and for several years worked as an LPN at St. Mary’s Hospital. When her parents needed extra help, she lived with them for a number of years until their
passing and later became legal guardian to her brother Frank. She loved her cats and was fiercely loyal and a strong advocate for those she loved.
There will be a memorial service for Donna at St. Bonaface Church on Saturday, August 3 rd 2024 at 10am. The memorial service will be casual and attenders are encouraged to wear light / bright and or Pride Colors in remembrance of Donna.
I am saddened by the news that Donna has passed. My deepest condolences for her brothers, Mark, Frank, and sister Terry, and her partner, Fran. Wishing her final peace and happiness.
