Rochester, NY:  Drew Bobzin passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on 5/29/2019 at age 59 after battling cancer. Drew was a 1978 graduate of Greece Olympia High School and an accomplished musician.

He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 34 years Susan Nashburn and her family: In laws: Robert, Richard (Marcia), Peter (Judy), James (Judy), Ann Zimmerman (Joe Benedetto), John (Tammy Garvey); nieces & nephews: David, Kevin (Erin Eckerd), Chelsea Nashburn Savery (Timothy), Donna Weber (James), Tina Nashburn (Tony Furillo), Nicolas Bovenzi, Laura & Stephen, Jeffrey Bombard (Kate); several great nieces & nephews and cousins; godson Michael Willison and family; Bobzin family: Uncle Ralph Bobzin; brothers & sister: Wayne, Ken, Gayle Tucker, Gary, Craig & Blair along with several nieces and nephews and cousins; along with numerous dear and loving friends and their families.

Calling hours on 6/10/19 at Harvest Bible Fellowship, 1125 Calkins Road from 5 pm – 7pm with a celebration of life to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Drew’s memory to Camp Good Days and Special Times P.O. Box 665, Mendon, NY 14506 or online at www.campgooddays.org.

        My deepest sympathy to Sue and all of Drew’s family. The greatest musical moments in my life happened standing next to Drew on his drummer’s throne powering the band. None of the music we made together could have been created without his skill, positivity, showmanship, and dedication.

    Colette and I express our greatest sympathy for passing of Drew. Drew was a such a wonderful, kindhearted person, an outstandingly talented drummer and vocalist, and he will always be my favorite one. Drew was a great friend to me and will be missed by all that knew him. I shall never forget him, and will remember all of the enjoyment that he gave us playing in the various bands together. These are some of my happiest memories. I think of him often. Drew: Rest in Peace my friend, and save a spot for us when we see you next.

Getting to know Drew was one of the best times of my life and being able to play music alongside his incredible talent was truly a great and wonderful gift that he shared with everyone.
