Brockport NY:  Passed away Peacefully on June 22, 2016 with her loving family by her side. She is predeceased by the love of her life Ray Smith, brothers Bill and Al and sister Eleanor. She leaves to cherish her memories, her sisters Lorraine and Joan, 4 Daughters Deborah Heath, Edie (Ken) Whitney, Norah (John) Clyde and Helen Keough. 2 Sons Richard Ellis and Frank (Erin) Keough, Daughter in law Karen Bovenzi, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and many loving friends.

Edith’s Visitation will be held Monday, June 27, 2016 4-7 P.M. at Vay Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Hilton Chapel, 38 East Avenue, Hilton NY.  Please note to send flowers to the Hilton Chapel.  Interment will be held privately.

    My dearest friend for over 40 years I keep waiting for my phone to ring for are daily chat but its not ringing because your in haven chating with all your friends and Ray the love of your life thats ok I know you are very happy now and resting with God and all the angels I miss you very much but I know you are happy. Everytime I hear my phone ring I will think its you. When you left a piece of my heart went with you. Ok say hello to everyone for me and untill we meet again I love dear friend you were the best friend in the world more like a sister. Rest In Peace Dear Friend

    To Edith’s Family,
    Your Mom and Grandmother was a wonderful lady. She and my Mother lived at the same apartment complex and became very good friends. I had the opportunity to meet her and get to know her. I am so very sorry for your loss.
    I will remember her kindness and smiles always.
