Edie and I were high school friends from Penn Yan,N.Y. I introduced her to my brother,Butch. He was in the Navy and was also a musician! They married and and had their son Ricky! They also lost a little girl at birth,Sherry! They bought the shear shack in Brockport where they raised Ricky! A musical family we all enjoyed jamborees with my brothers band and Edie singing soprano! Wonderful times and wonderful memories! You will be missed my friend!

Not a person in this world can or ever could replace you in my life Edie. Thank you for your love.. Yourself and Paul (Butch) played such a big part in my life and my family’s. April still remembers you giving all the children pealed uncut cucumbers to eat while you baby sat ( what could be more exciting to a little girl! )
It is hard to know I can not dial a phone and know you will be at the other end caring so much about my world instead of worrying about your own. I am happy for you to be with “your Jesus” now. If only all of us could have your faith no matter what life brought you
I will always love you Edie, Remember family does not have to have a bloodline , we realized that 40 years ago.

I am so sorry to just learn of Edie’s passing. I just posted on Facebook a photo of Paul cutting my son’s 1st haircut at the Shear Shack. Edie and Paul were very caring and loving to all who came into their life either at the shop or while out playing and singing with bands and friends in the area. My condolences to Rick and the family.
