Irondequoit NY: 88, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 after a brief illness. He leaves his wife of 66 years, Viola W. Schlageter, his daughter, Lisa (Schlageter) Stadalius, his son, Mark Schlageter, Son-in Law Robert Stadalius, and his 2 grandchildren Lauren and Adam Stadalius.
Born and raised in Rochester, the son of Julius and Pauline Schlageter, he was a lifelong resident of Rochester. Ed was a Master plumber who was a proud member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 13 and retired from Kodak after years of dedicated service. Ed served in the Army during WW II with an Honorable discharge. After leaving the Army Ed began his career as an apprentice plumber. Ed was an avid bowler and loved camping.
Ed loved his family and friends and did so much for so many.
