My sincere condolences to all. I lived on Abby Lane about 4 houses away from Ed & Tony. Ed & I both had electric guitars & amps dating back to 1964. Over the years we played together with other friends. He was a good person. His guitar “secret” was that every new guitar had to be a burst. He thought no one in the family would notice. (Of course, that excluded his traditional orange Gretsch. Not sure he ever knew but I always envied his Ampeg amp that lead tubes that lit the amp up a green color. He was a kind and true friend. It’s the little things, the smallest of memories, that we most appreciate. I will miss him and I know others will as well.

My deepest condolences. I lived right behind the Devlin family and practically lived at their house. Used to love looking at the stars late at night with Ed and his telescope. So many fond memories of Ed and his family. May he rest in peace.
