Williamson, NY: Eleanor Walker Maynard, age 66, passed away at her home on July 24, 2021.
Ellie was born on February 26, 1955. She was predeceased by her parents Louis and Dorothy Walker, her sister Kathi Walker Corwin and her nephew Paul Phelps.
She is survived by her husband Brian, daughter Karen, son Brian (Erinn) and three vibrant granddaughters: Eva, Teagan and Brooklynn. She is also survived by her sisters Karen Lippa (Joe), Mickey Griffin (Bruce), Kim Vanstrien (Dennis), Pauline Cauwels (Mike), Julie Fagner (Charlie), Corinne Weimer (Scott), her brother Louis Walker (Margaret), as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Ellie adored being with her granddaughters. They were the light of her life. She was the heart and soul of her family.
Ellie believed in helping others and championed many causes, both national and local. i worked downstairs from Ellie for many years and it was always fun to go upstairs to visit. we had many laughs (especially with our Fedex guy) and good times. she was a wonderful person and heaven is a much happier place with her in it. my sincere condolences to all her familly who she loved and talked about so much.
