Elisabeth Affolter, born October 9, 1930 in Solothurn, Switzerland peacefully passed away April 21, 2024 surrounded by her children. Growing up in Switzerland, Elisabeth enjoyed the relationship with her three older brothers, school, skiing, hiking, mountaineering and the nature which surrounded her. From the early days to the present, she enjoyed life, continuous learning and was interested in varied activities. She shared her kind and loving countenance with family, many friends and acquaintances. Truly a wonderful person.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
A welcoming and engaging lady. Pleasant in all her ways. Even as a kid, she would always come and speak to me, wanting to know about me. I ran into her and your dad in Starbucks a few years back, she was still the same warm and welcoming lady. May your hearts have peace and jibe filled with wonderful memories. Hugs to you all.
I was so saddened to hear about Elisabeth’s passing. I knew her from working at the Brickstone, and we shared so many , although brief stories and laughs. She was a kind, gentle and loving person with an uncanny ability to make people feel comfortable. She definitely left a heartprint!!! I will miss her.
With my sincere sympathies to her family.

Hi Patty & Bill, Thank you so much for your condolences. My mom fortunately had a very short illness and didn’t suffer long. She is certainly missed by us all.
